Of all the Chinese restaurant in the west warwick area I like coming here. Lorie's mom raves about this place so we finally decided to check it out a year or two ago. I can never pick what I want so I usually go for the chicken fingers and this order comes with French fries which is unusual but hey its a meal and it's always hot and crispy plus they have mt dew and that's a plus for me. Lorie get the veggie lo mein which she loves it and they don't mess up her order with meat in it.

Whenever I have a craving for authentic Chinese American I always head for the Hong Kong Restaurant in the Artic section of West Warwick RI. Renovated in the last few years it a great place for a nice dinner. With a full bar my wife love to share one of their deliciously refreshing Scorpion Bowls. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I stopped in with a group before seeing a show next door at the Arctic Playhouse. We had a scorpion bowl. It was everything you want out of huge drink: tasty and strong (also on fire -literally!). We each ordered an appetizer and all of them were good quality, hot, and flavorful (which definitely took us by surprise considering this place is kind of a hole in the wall). I had the crab Rangoon and I would definitely recommend it. Our server was nice but I only gave 4 stars because the ambience and decor were a little lacking. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back if in the area again.

Food is great and you won't find any sleazy backroom antics here. Food is all freshly prepared and they have a very friendly staff, clean bathrooms and a large menu. They also have take out and it is almost always ready within 10 minutes.

Fresh good food , polite service. and reasonable prices. From traditional to authentic, there is something for everyone. Very clean dining area and bathroom. Fried rice was moist and flavorful. Not dried and sitting for days. Try them!

This is a great place in the the heart of West Warwick. No, it is not traditional Chinese, but it is traditional Americanized Chinese food. I must say that it was some of the better Gen Tso's chicken I have had. It was not drowned in the dark sauce. I asked for extra spicy and they accommodated. The was thought it was okay, she really likes it a more on the darker, not so spicy side. The fried rice was pretty dang good and the Crab Rangon was great. I will say for West Warwick, this is a great find. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Down side, they do not serve fountain drinks. Everything in a can. So no refills. Well worth stopping in.

Hong Kong was surprisingly not too bad. Once you get past the sketchy artic outer appearance and try the food its actually alright. I think that the prices could be a little better considering the portions weren't crazy big. Overall its what you would expect from this type of Chinese restaurant. House of Wu will always be #1 in my heart :)

Although I would much rather sit a full service restaurant, if I had to chose a buffet it would be Hong Kong. They have been a family owned business in my local community for as long as I can remember. the family is very kind, and always offer a smile. The waitress all are very nice as well. I try to tip them well, when I look around everyone else is cheesy lol.

I have been coming here since I was a kid with my parents. Now 30+ years later, I still stop in when I'm in West Warwick and in the mood for chinese food. My favorites are the boneless chicken in egg batter with brown gravy. I am also a huge fan of their wonton soup. The prices? Dirt Cheap!

I come here about once a week for take out and once in a while for table service. Good food -great prices and service. Favs are chicken and broccoli and the won ton soup. One of the only places that I will order french fries. Killer brown gravy.

Best Chinese in town!!! I've been coming here since I was a little girl. They raise the bar for other Chinese food places in town. Both, now older owners, still know how to conduct business, keep prices affordable, and customers happy.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
